Ways to gather at Willow Street
Worship, a shared meal and a room full of teenagers — the three things that fill our building most weeks.
Ask about timesOur regular gatherings
Call the office for current times — we'll happily walk you through the week.
Sunday worship
One service each Sunday morning: hymns and songs led simply, prayers offered aloud for our congregation and our city, scripture read, and a sermon that takes the text seriously. Communion is shared and everyone who wishes to receive is welcome at the table.
Wednesday supper
A midweek meal cooked in our own kitchen and served on long shared tables. It's the least formal thing we do — kids running between chairs, second helpings encouraged, and conversation that often runs past the dishes being cleared.
Youth group
For middle and high school students. Games, small-group conversation, service projects in the neighbourhood, and space to ask the questions they can't ask anywhere else. Friends from outside the church are always welcome to tag along.
Prayer and pastoral care
If you're in the hospital, grieving, out of work or simply worn thin, call the office. Someone will pray with you, and someone will show up. That's not a programme — it's just what a small church does.
Bringing children
Children are genuinely welcome in worship at Willow Street. We don't mind the noise, and we'd much rather you stayed in the room than worried about being a distraction. If your family would prefer a quieter spot, ask an usher and we'll point you somewhere comfortable. Teenagers who'd like to get connected should come to youth group — call the office and we'll put you in touch with our youth volunteers.
Not sure where to start?
Wednesday supper is the easiest front door we have. No sermon, no singing, just a plate of food and a place to sit.
